The successful Dutch family film Eighth-graders don't cry from 2012 is getting a Brazilian remake. Producer Morena Filmes has purchased the rights. Producers Rinkel Film and Bijker Film announced this on Wednesday. It is now the second remake for eighth-graders don't cry. A Norwegian version of the youth drama was released in 2014. Eighth-graders don't cry, based on the book by Jacques Vriens, about a girl who gets leukemia.
