Last year, the public broadcaster unilaterally terminated the applicable social scheme in the event of reorganizations as of January 1, 2019. The old scheme, based on the subdistrict court formula, was too expensive, according to the broadcasters. Discussions with the unions about another social plan came to nothing. Now the public broadcaster has drawn up and ratified a scheme itself, without the blessing of the employee organizations.
