A normal premiere for Prazdnik (Party) was not possible. Alexei Krasvonik's black comedy was labeled a 'Nazi film' by Russian parliamentarians and was therefore banned from cinemas. Officially, censorship does not exist in Russia. But filmmakers are increasingly finding it difficult to show their work. The director posted his film on YouTube and was summoned by the St. Petersburg police last week. There has been no official accusation, but the police unit that is pressuring him usually deals with 'economic crime'. ,
