Director Frans Weisz receives a lifetime achievement award, the so-called Shortcutz Career Award. Weisz (80), who made Rooie Sien and Leedvermaak, among others, receives this award for his extraordinary contribution to Dutch culture. It is the sixth time that this prize has been awarded. Previously, George Sluizer, Rutger Hauer, Jos Stelling, Pieter Kuijpers and Heddy Honigmann received the prize.
