If there were an Oscar for courage and perseverance, Terry Gilliam would be the number one candidate for the trophy. The only American member of the late Monty Python announced in the corridors of Cannes that he will make a new attempt to realize his dream project: a film adaptation of Miguel de Cervantes' classic "Don Quixote". His previous attempt, in 1999, literally failed. The numerous problems faced by Gilliam's first attempt are documented in the documentary "Lost in La Mancha", shown at the time on IDFA.
