The family film Sinterklaas and the Flight through the Air has been awarded a Golden Film. Since its release on October 17, more than 100,000 visitors have seen the film in theaters. This afternoon, the Golden Film was festively presented to Saint Nicholas by leading actor Yenthe Bos at the Club van Sinterklaas Party in Utrecht. The film awards are an initiative of the Dutch Film Festival and the Dutch Film Fund. Sinterklaas and the Flight through the Air is the tenth film to achieve Golden Film status this year.
