"Little Baby Jesus of Flandr" by the young Flemish filmmaker Gust Van den Berghe was shown for the first time in Cannes on Friday morning as part of the important side section "Quinzaine des Réalisateurs". The first reactions spoke of "a unique film", "very Breughelian", "pure simplicity" and "a burlesque Béla Tarr".
