Film producer Jason Blum was chased off stage late last night at the Israel Film Festival in Beverly Hills, where he stood to accept the 2018 IFF Achievement in Film and TV Award. In his acceptance speech, Blum referred to the results of the Midterm elections that were trickling in at that time and to the president. At that moment the shouting started in the room. When he then confronted Trump about his attacks on the press and his flirtation with anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, some audience members became so angry that they literally tried to pull him off the stage.
