From December 15, 2018 to March 3, 2019, Eye Filmmuseum presents the exhibition Jan Švankmajer - The Alchemical Wedding around the Czech surrealist and master animator Jan Švankmajer (Prague, 1934). It is the first major retrospective of his bizarre and dark films and sculptures in the Netherlands. A large selection of his tactile objects, collages, prints and sick maps can also be seen in Eye. Feature films can be seen in Eye's cinemas, along with talks and events.
