Cinekid and VPRO launched the VPRO Cinekid Top 100 at the 32nd edition of the Cinekid Festival. The Top 100 consists of titles that you must have seen as a child. The Top 100 was compiled by a broad committee of experts. The list is full of classics, with the oldest title being The Kid from 1921. New releases can also be found: Dikkertje Dap was still in cinemas in the autumn of 2017 and the German road film Tshick won the MovieZone Cinekid Award in 2017. Most films are made in the Netherlands (28), followed by the United States (24). The VPRO Cinekid Top 100 represents twenty countries in total.
