Bob Löwenstein, director of the television series De Kleine Zielen, died on Thursday at the age of 90. His family announced this in an obituary. Löwenstein created the popular series, based on the book series by Louis Couperus, in the late 1960s together with Johan de Meester. Ellen Vogel starred as the daughter of a former Governor General, who causes a family scandal when she starts a relationship with her husband's secretary.
