The Dutch Film Festival (NFF) awarded emerging film talent with the Student and Debut Awards during the NFF Talent Awards ceremony. Directing duo Malou Wagenmaker and Bo van der Meer won the Film Prize of the City of Utrecht 2018 for the debut film CHEEK TO CHEEK. The NFF Student Awards for best film, most distinctive crew member and best producer were awarded respectively to director Tim Bary (WOGNUM), editor Tobias Cornelissen (SISTERS, DANTE vs. MOHAMMED ALI and AT MIDNIGHT PLAYS A DANCE-TUNE) and producer Coen Balkestein (MYSTERY DELIVERY).
