The Dutch Film Festival (NFF) announces the nominees of the NFF Debut and Student Competition. Five novice directors (duos) have been nominated from the 83 entries for the NFF Debut Competition. Due to the high quality, the jury has decided to give no fewer than 5 nominations instead of the usual three. They have a chance to win the Film Prize of the City of Utrecht, made possible by the Municipality of Utrecht. Three nominees have been selected per category for the NFF Student Competition, consisting of forty films and three installations.
