The short animated film EMILY by Marlies van der Wel, produced by HALAL, has been selected to be submitted on behalf of the Netherlands for the upcoming Academy Awards in the Best Animated Short Film category. The film was chosen by the Oscar® Short Animation Film selection committee, which consisted of delegates from the Holland Animation Film Festival (HAFF), KLIK - Amsterdam Animation Film Festival and Animation Producers Netherlands (ApN).
