Belgian comedian Urbanus is working on his first animated film. According to Belgian media, the cinema film, called The Garbage Hero, will premiere on February 27, 2019. The film is based on the popular comic series about Urbanus that the comedian has been making for more than thirty years with artist Willy Linthout. The Belgian comedian will provide the voice of his own character; In addition, actors Sven De Ridde and Frances Lefebure can be heard in the film. The animation is directed by Vincent Bal.
