Wannes Destoop, a Waregem film directing student, has succeeded in attracting top actors Wim Opbrouck and Johan Heldenbergh for his final work. The first shooting of the short film Badpakje 46 will take place on Thursday in the De Treffer swimming pool in Waregem. Wannes Destoop (25), master's student in Film at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent, hopes that this short film can open the doors to a great career in the film world. “That is my big dream,” he says. 'And I emulate young talents such as Felix Van Groeningen and Fien Troch.'
