The Belgian cinema chain Kinepolis is taking over the majority of the North Holland cinema operator NH Bioscopen. This concerns cinemas in Schagen and Hoofddorp and a new cinema yet to be built in Haarlem. Kinepolis will spend a total of 27.5 million euros on the acquisition, including debts. The cinemas will officially change ownership on January 1. Kinepolis already has fifteen cinemas in the Netherlands and will open a new cinema in Den Bosch next year.
