The Flemish Mediahuis and VP Exploitatie have increased their takeover bid for media company Telegraaf Media Groep (TMG) from 5.25 to 5.90 euros per share. That is as much as Talpa offered. John de Mol's investment company has indicated that it will continue its takeover bid for TMG. Talpa says it is 'considering' an increase in the proposed offer and will inform the market 'as soon as there is reason to do so'. John de Mol recently said he wants to build a “100% Dutch multi-media company”.
