In Belgium, journalistic circles reacted furiously to a raid on VRT journalist Bart Aerts, who works for the current affairs program Terzake. His computer was searched and Aerts' phone was confiscated. The journalist himself was taken away for questioning. The VRT strongly protests against this infringement of source secrecy. Police are investigating leaks surrounding a 2012 murder of a property developer. The VRT has demanded the return of the phone and says that the work of the journalist involved has been damaged.
