The full program of the IDFA documentary festival will be announced soon. During IDFA, documentaries will be shown in the Netherlands that have never been shown before. Some documentaries are even having their premiere. The discoveries also include various home-grown documentaries. NU.nl has already highlighted five contenders for the IDFA Award for Best Dutch Documentary, namely: Stranger in Paradise, Miss Kiet's Children, Unknown Brood, Waiting for Giraffes and Passage - a Boatfilm.
