Following the announcement of the structural recognition of organizations in the field of film culture and education, the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF) was regularly in the media last week about the failure to grant structural support to the film magazine Vertigo. Hasty conclusions were sometimes drawn based on incomplete and incorrect information about the context of this decision. It therefore seems necessary to us to put this issue in the right perspective.
