Director Arno Dierickx did not want to stop his series about the Belgian capital after the attacks in Brussels. When the city was hit by terrorist attacks in early March, recording for the KPN series Brussels had just begun. The international drama series, starring Johanna ter Steege, Daniël Boissevain and Nadja Hüpscher, is a story about political life in Brussels. "The series responds to a feeling that exists now, the feeling that it is many times more complicated than we realize," says Dierickx about Brussels, which was written by Leon de Winter.
