The Flemish with a love for Teletext can only indulge today. At midnight, the Belgian broadcaster VRT will pull the plug on the service. The broadcaster announced in January that it would stop using Teletext, because visitor numbers are declining rapidly. The Belgian Ministry of Media no longer sees Teletext as a task of the public broadcaster. However, subtitles remain available via page 888.
