This year the European Commission will decide how it wants to reform European copyright. We would like to draw attention to the fact that online platforms such as Facebook earn a lot of money from copyrighted material, without paying anything to rights holders. When the concrete plans for the legislation are announced in the autumn, we hope that the European Commission will amend existing legislation in such a way that a fairer situation is created.
