Film distributor Dutch Filmworks will track down and prosecute individual downloaders of illegal copies of films. Dutch Filmworks already has lists of IP addresses of Dutch downloaders, reports de Volkskrant. Until now, individual downloaders have always been left out of harm's way, even though downloading pirated films has been banned in the Netherlands since April 2014. The hunt has always been limited to film pirates who share films on a large scale.
