The Belgian cinema group Kinepolis lands in Normandy by taking over the operation of a former UGC cinema. Kinepolis already has nine other cinema complexes elsewhere in France. In July, the group acquired the Utopolis complex in Longwy as part of the takeover of 13 Utopolis cinemas in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. The latest addition, located in the Saint-Sever commercial center in Rouen, has 14 rooms, 2,500 seats and welcomed 400,000 visitors last year.
