My Queen Karo, Dorothe van den Berghe's second feature after Girl (2002), also seems to be appreciated by our northern neighbors. After a good reception in Belgium, a standing ovation and festival selection in Toronto, the film is also warmly received in the Netherlands. The film premiered after it ended in the top 10 of the audience favorites at the Rotterdam International Film Festival.
