The Flemish actor Matthias Schoenaerts was able to copy the trick from his famous father, Julien Schoenaerts. He was already on stage as a child and made his debut on the silver screen in 1992 with the film Daens, which was nominated for an Oscar. He now has many international roles to his name. He played in Rundskop, The Drop, De Rouille et d'Os and A Little Chaos, among others. He has received many awards, including last summer the title of Knight of the French Order of Arts and Letters. Pieter van der Wielen speaks with Matthias Schoenaerts about his latest film Disorder, in which he once again plays an intense role, now as an ex-soldier with PTSD.
