This year, Nouchka van Brakel will receive the Film Prize of Merit in Antwerp from the Association of the Flemish Film Press. Every two years, around 123 film journalists select a Belgian or Dutch man/woman who has successfully made his/her mark in the field of film. The prize consists of the Gulden Mira, a work of art designed especially for this occasion by the Flemish artist Frans Wuytack.
