De Ontmoeting, a new financing option for short films, was launched during the Dutch Film Festival and offers new makers, of all shapes and sizes, the opportunity to get to know diverse and experienced partners by making a short film together. The initiators emphatically call for submission of idiosyncratic ideas, in order to examine whether this will lead to long-term collaborations during selection. Deadline for submissions is December 1.
