Belgian stage, film and TV series actress Dora van der Groen (88) has died. In the Netherlands, Van der Groen became a well-known face through her performances in the TV series Wij, Heren van Zichem (1969), Tussen Wal en Schip (1977) and Willem van Oranje (1984) and the feature films Dakota (1971). Keetje Tippel (1975), Doctor Pulder sows poppies (1975), Antonia (1995) and Pauline and Paulette (2001). Van der Groen was born in Antwerp in 1927. She played her first film role in 1945.
