Next spring, Freek Vonk will take a stand against poaching in a new, four-part BNN-VARA documentary series entitled Freek Tegen De Stropers. In Freek Tegen De Stropers, Vonk mainly focuses on illegal rhino hunting. Since 2007, hunting has increased by 9,000 percent in Africa alone. Poachers target them for the ivory horn that gives them their name.
