The Festival International du Film de Bruxelles (FIFB) will take place from November 17 to 21 at UGC De Brouckère, Bozar and Cinéma Galeries. There is no defined theme, although tribute is paid to French culture. The festival also puts 40 years of independent cinema in the spotlight. The festival has competition sections for young cinema and Belgian film with five short films. The FIFB also pays tribute to three directors: Belgian Marc Didden, Frenchman François Ozon and Filipino Brillante Mendoza.
