Black by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah has won the Port of Ghent Audience Award at the Film Fest Ghent. The festival just announced this. The prize includes a distribution premium of 5,000 euros. Black received the highest appreciation from the festival audience. On Saturday, just before the end of the Film Fest Ghent, the film took the lead with an average score of 4.8 out of 5, finishing ahead of films such as Benny Vandendriessche's Bobbejaan (4.73/5) and the full-length animated film Phantom Boy ( 4.71/5).
