Cartoonist Jan Rothuizen, photographer Dirk Jan Visser and multimedia maker Martijn van Tol received the 'future prize' of the Dutch design week this weekend. Their Refugee Republic is a well-made and accessible digital documentary, in which the internet visitor walks through the Domiz refugee camp in Northern Iraq. Or actually by a detailed version of the camp. Every now and then a street or resident comes to life through photos or videos.
