The Film Front Festival in Gorinchem will cease to exist after 16 years. The organization has decided that. The three-day festival has suffered from disappointing visitor numbers in recent years. "Moreover, the internet has become a more important platform for young filmmakers," says Ruben Pest. It was a difficult decision, film festival chairman Ruben Pest (29) readily admits. "But if you've reached the point where you want to continue for another year because you can't let go of the festival, then you just have to stop. Not being able to say goodbye should not be an argument."
