Theaters and stages around Leidseplein in Amsterdam will donate their proceeds to the Dutch Council for Refugees on Wednesday. More than 36,700 euros have already been raised during the evening. The organization expects that amount will increase even further in the coming days. At some locations the program was specially adapted with themes surrounding the refugee crisis, such as the performance Nobody Home by four young refugee theater makers in the DeLaMar Theater and the play La Isla Bonita/Het Debuut in Theater Bellevue.
