The film History's Future by director and artist Fiona Tan is the first of eight films selected for the 2016 Hivos Tiger Awards Competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The production, in which Johanna ter Steege and Rifka Lodeizen play a role, will have its world premiere during the film festival. Producer Family Affair Films received 30,000 euros in development support for the film from the Creative Europe/MEDIA program.
