Neerpelt resident Michiel Thomas recently won an award for the tenth time with his documentary 'Game Face'. He received the jury prize for best documentary at the Rochester Film Festival in New York. In his documentary, Michiel follows the process of two top athletes who come out of the closet for two and a half years: the transsexual boxer Fallon Fox and Terence Clemens, a gay basketball player.
