The film JOHNNY BAKRU was named Best Short Youth Film during the LUCAS – International Children's Film Festival. Ineke Houtman's film won the prize during the 38th edition of this prestigious children's film festival. The jury was particularly pleased with the actors, the special atmosphere and the beautiful camera work in this telling of a family history.
