As of January 1, 2017, the Media Fund will end its subsidies for cultural media productions. It is in the interest of the sector to obtain clarity as early as possible about the consequences of this and about what changes compared to the current Media Fund arrangements. The NPO, the Film Fund and the Creative Industries Fund NL will decide next spring about the precise size of budgets, conditions and naming from 2017 onwards. The NPO will also discuss this with other funds and festivals that the Media Fund collaborates with, such as the Letterenfonds, Cinekid and IDFA.
