From October 8 to 11, the Dutch-language film festival Cinema Bioscoop will take over Cinéma Galeries. The focus of the first edition of the festival, which wants to put Dutch and Flemish film in the spotlight, is on arthouse films. The poster also features work by Surinamese filmmaker Pim de la Parra. Cinema Bioscoop is an initiative of the Dutch foundation of the same name, which aims to promote the Dutch language and film culture in Europe. She already organized a similar festival in London in May.
