From this fall, MOOOV Film Festival in Turnhout will also be involved in the distribution of films in Belgium and the Netherlands. Bert Goessen, former owner of the Cinecitta film theater in Tilburg, is responsible for the Dutch branch of MOOOV. The aim of this is to make smaller, foreign arthouse films known to a wide audience. MOOOV will start this autumn with three titles that will be shown on the big screen - both in Belgium and the Netherlands. The Georgian film Corn Island by filmmaker George Ovashvili will premiere on November 12, and the Israeli film Next to Her and Dukhtar from Pakistan are on the release list for 2016.
