Jochem de Vries' psychological thriller Cornea wins the top prize for best film at the Fiorentino International Independent Film Festival (MIIFF) in the Italian province of Tuscany. In addition, leading actor Juda Goslinga wins the prize for Best Actor. The organization has announced all prize winners prior to the festival, which takes place between October 16 and 19. Cornea will be screened on October 19 as the closing film of the festival, which shows a selection of independently produced short and feature films from all over the world.
