The Film Fund and MDM (Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung) established a new co-development fund at the beginning of 2015 to jointly support the script development of original children's and youth film plans. Proposals for original live action feature films, intended for children in age groups 4-6, 6-9 and 9-12 may be eligible for support. An application can be made by a production company established in the Netherlands or EU country that has been established in the Netherlands for at least 2 years and is represented by an experienced producer.
