Filmmaker Erik van Schaaik from Arnhem is in the running for a Golden Calf with his horror comedy Under The Apple Tree: "Under The Apple Tree is an animated film. You should know that animation is not a film genre. Think of it as a medium to tell stories. Everything is possible. I film in places where you can't easily reach with a camera: in an apple where two worms are having a conversation."
