We have to create a new 'awareness', give Heinz a new identity.” This is stated by director Piet Kroon, who is raising money for his project through crowdfunding at the Dutch Film Festival. The fact that the target amount of 15,000 euros at the NFF was reached in no time gives Kroon courage. “That gives energy and extra confidence to make a very beautiful, crazy film. We are going to prove that you can also tell these kinds of contradictory stories with animation in the Netherlands.”
