Jan Bultheels Cafard has been invited to the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal, Canada. The epic animated film will be shown in its North American premiere as part of the Panorama program. Meanwhile, Paris-based Eurozoom also announced that it will release Cafard in France from November 18. The film tells the dramatic adventures of wrestler Jean Mordant. While he wins the world title in Buenos Aires, his daughter is raped by German soldiers in Ostend. Jean vows to take revenge and, together with his trainer and nephew, he enlists in the AMC corps, the first armored division in the world, which marks the beginning of a dramatic odyssey around the world.
