Belgian director Joachim Lafosse won the Golden Shell for Best Director for his film "Les chevaliers blancs" at the closing evening of the San Sebastian Film Festival. The screenplay - written by Joachim Lafosse, Thomas Van Zuylen and Bulle Decarpentries - is based on the (legal) case of the French organization "Arche de Zoé", which brought a hundred children from Chad in 2007. San Sebastian belongs to the list of major international European film festivals, along with Berlin, Venice and Cannes. The jury is chaired by the Danish director and actress Paprika Steen.
