Holland, Nature in the Delta, is the successor to the acclaimed De Nieuwe Wildernis. But cameraman and director Ruben Smit is claiming a share of the profits from the successful nature film about the Oostvaardersplassen. "It is the only blemish on the success," says Ton Okkerse, executive producer of De Nieuwe Wildernis. Former employee Ruben Smit is filing a lawsuit over the proceeds of the first part of the documentary series, published in 2013. De Nieuwe Wildernis attracted 700,000 cinema visitors and generated a receipt of €5.2 million.
